My name is Roger Kawall, and I was born and raised in New York. I am a big proponent of physical activity and have sought to exemplify this throughout my life. I started out in Tae Kwon Do at 7 and became one of the youngest black belts in my dojo at the age of 13. I then transitioned to other interests and played on High School Varsity Basketball and Volleyball teams. I continued to play basketball and work out sparingly after team sports had concluded. A good friend in my neighborhood saw me doing pushups in my driveway one summer day, asked me if I wanted to work out with him, and then decided to take me under his wing and into the world of bodybuilding and strength training. I was always very skinny until the age of 24, but after just 6 weeks in the gym with my new athletic mentor, I went from 145lbs to 160lbs and never looked back. I have been working out consistently for the past 9 years and have learned a lot. My specialty revolves around power building, a mix of heavy lifts and aesthetic chiseling, bodybuilding, and powerlifting. I believe in looking amazing, but being strong and solid as well. I am an ISSA Certified trainer with additional certifications in Kettle Bell Fundamentals and Hyperice/Hypervolt (Theragun) Technology and Applications. I also understand and work well with individuals who have busy schedules due to my background in the Film and television industry. I am meticulous in my training methods, set goals, record progress, push someone based on their needs, and seek to transform how someone feels inside and outside the gym truly. My goal is to help you understand the body you're in and then elevate it beyond what you thought was capable.
